Every month, Back Porch Blues combines the talents of live music and our favorite dancers for a fantastic evening. For a night of live music, it’s only $15!!

7PM: Do you know what blues dancing is? Never danced blues before? Come join us early for the beginner lesson. We’ll help you understand the basic movement of blues and make sure you’re ready for a great night of dancing.

8PM – 1AM: Main dance and musical guest starts promptly at nine. When the band takes a break, we’ll still got your dancing covered with one of our great local DJs.

DISCOUNTS: We are proud to now offer a military and student discount! We want to thank all members of the military for their service by giving them a $5 discount to  Back Porch Blues. All those hardworking students will also receive a $5 discount. After discount, that is a whole night of music for $10!

ANNOUNCEMENT:  We are now hosting Intermediate (and up) Workshops on Back Porch Blues Saturdays. Two hours in length and led by local and regional instructors covering a range of topics. See Facebook Group for updates on subjects, time, and place.

Where Are You Located? We are located at the Global Education Center: 4822 Charlotte Ave # 3, Nashville, TN 37209. We are usually located in the back studio for live music nights. Always look for the BLUES sign to make sure you enter the correct studio.

Where Can I Park? There’s parking on the same side of the street as Global. We highly encourage everyone to use the playground parking lot which has plenty of space. It’s highlighted in blues on the image below. It’s directly across Charlotte Pike and there’s a crosswalk at the light.

Do You Take Cards? Yes, we accept Cash and Card. If you paid for SSB on Eventbrite, make sure to bring your ticket or confirmation email for admission.

Do You Provide Alcohol? No, but you are allowed to bring your own. Please make sure to drink responsibly. If you can’t safely make it home, please contact a organizer and we’ll make sure to get you a ride home.
